A collection created exclusively with Interior designer Åse Ørjasæter of By Bjørkheim. Images to represent their shared passion for travel, landscapes and being close to the oceans near and far. Lindsey’s images come from the desire to want to capture angles or perspectives otherwise unnoticed, an approach where the distance is to her advantage. Her collection comes from all corners including, where she resides on the west coast of Norway, her hometown Vancouver Island, Åse’s favorite beach’s and waves in Bali and the deserted landscapes of Mexico.
“My collection is images captured from a distance, a perspective otherwise unnoticed. Nothing was staged or predetermined, they are just a glimpse of my travels when able to move more freely.. When travel is not accessible I feel images can sometimes bring you back to that place, feeling or moment in time.
I often dream about some of the most beautiful beaches, oceans and waves and anticipate when I can go back. At the same time I am grateful I had the opportunity to grace these remote and unique places.” Lindsey Bundschuh

About the Artist
Lindsey grew up on Vancouver island on the west coast of Canada surrounded by ocean, old growth forest & inspiring artists. Lindsey has a long journey as a photographer, but also as a producer, teacher and a mother. Her photography career was composed naturally as her twin sister trained her over 8 years ago so they could always have a connection that would keep them together. Today, Lindsey is living the best of both worlds between Stadlandet, Norway and Squamish, Canada.
“My inspiration to shoot comes in waves and has been like that since I started. I can go months without picking up my camera or have months where the camera doesn’t leave my side. I think its important to just go with the flow and not force your work. When I travel, the desire to shoot comes naturally. I’m excited to share where I am at, the beauty I see and the people I meet.”
Lindsey is most inspired by the ocean when it comes to photography. To combine a subject/person and water together is my ideal image. To travel to surf destinations and capture the culture and lifestyle of surfing has been a huge part of my career and I feel very fortunate to have been able to document my travels and translate this into art.
