Downdraft ventilation is a good alternative to a ventilation hood installed over a cooktop. When not in use the entire module disappears completely into the counter. This type of ventilation is ideal for very high ceilings, on a kitchen island or when you are in lack of space.
A ventilation like this would be a good alternative for the kitchen in our new loft apartment since we have very high ceilings. Just need to find out more about the costs…
